This unit, like most in this complex, has keyless entry and we were provided the code in advance – no need to stop by an office to check in or pick up keys. We just head straight to the beach, the complex’s pool and hot tub, or make a trip to the grocery store just 2 blocks away.
These units always have a kitchen fully stocked with cooking items and small appliances, so it’s easy to cook meals on-site and avoid the restaurant traffic if desired. And in #106 there were over a dozen settings of plates and silverware so you could wait until the dishwasher was full to run it. There is also a washer/dryer built into the hallway, and the hall bunkbeds had curtains to keep out the light, since this is an end unit. This unit also offers beach chairs and towels – nice bonus!
With newly updated tile throughout, and lots of little other things, this has been our favorite unit at CD by far! The freezer doesn't have an ice maker, but several trays are provided. There is a large security deposit required for this unit, but it was refunded quickly after our stay. We also booked this unit in 2018 and it’s our first choice unit to book at CD.
We love this complex – this is the first unit we’ve stayed in here where everything was recently updated and it was lovely, but if you can't book it for your selected dates, find something else at CD. If we can't find a CD unit on VRBO, we go through a property management company to get one here, such as Harmony Beach vacations or Southern Resorts. No matter how you find your unit - choo
